Sunrise Workshop 06:30 am start

Sunrises is a great time to learn how to handle extremes of light and enhance your photography skills;

I will:

  • explain which settings to use to achieve correct exposure.
  • show you how to use graduated filters to control the light.
  • demonstrate how different  camera positions affect your composition.
  •  show you how choose the best focus distance .
  • explain the elements of a good composition.

EVENING

Evening Workshop 17:00 pm start

At Kiama I introduce you to night photography and the skills needed to take award winning photos.

I will discuss;

  • How to determine correct low light exposure settings.
  • Tips & tricks to achieve great light trails, and long exposures shots
  • How to obtain the correct focus settings under low light conditions
  • Which factors are important when planning a night shoot.

MORNING

PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD WORKSHOPS

Morning Workshop  08:30 am start

At Gerringong or Greenwell Point are ideal locations to practice ‘Hand’s On’. Learn how to hone your camera skills and take beautiful photos.

You will;

  • Experiment with different shutter speeds and apertures to control the desired point of view.
  • Be shown how to use and adjust circular polarizing filters to enhance colour and detail.
  • Use different camera heights and positions to control foreground elements.
  • learn how to choose your locations for the best lighting and weather conditions.
