About | Denis Cale Photography

Photography has always been a passion of mine since an early age. My first camera was a Baby Brownie , in the 60’s I had Voigtlanders then Minoltas, and now a comprehensive collection of Nikon equipment.

I was introduced to photography by my dad in the 50’s. He specialized in portraiture and weddings, meticulously hand colouring the black and white images.

Throughout my working life, I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge;  running training courses for enginners,  colleges, and schools .

I retired in 2004, and now enjoyed sharing my photographic knowledge as a tutor and adviser to individuals and photographic clubs.

My One-on-One Photography Courses and Photography Field Workshops have been running since 2009.

I am a judge with the FCC NSW  and actively involved with the Shoalhaven Photographic Club.

Since 2012, I have taken members of local photographic clubs away to various destinations each year. These annual photographic trips are open to all financial photographic club members.

Past locations are the Red Centre, Flinders Ranges, Victorian High Country, Mungo National Park, South Coast Beaches, Broken Hill and Menindee Lakes, Mayfield Gardens, Western Victoria and Outback Queensland.
